In September 2004, Cataloging Committee charged a subgroup consisting of Aaron Olsen (chair), Becky Culbertson, Cindy Geraldo, Shirley Higgins, and Jim Soe Nyun to make recommendations on metadata needed for TPOT documents. The group was asked to recommend what metadata should be required, to create a subject vocabulary, and to develop an implementation plan for adding metadata to TPOT documents. In early 2006 Brian Pierini and Arvid Nelsen joined the group and Aaron Olsen left the group; Shirley Higgins is currently chairing the group. Also in 2006 the charge was expanded to include working with Jasman Mann and Steve Wieda to migrate TPOT to the Vignette content management system.
