TPOT: MASU - Metadata Analysis and Specification Unit

The Metadata Analysis and Specification Unit, a division of the Metadata Services Department, provides a number of metadata related services to the UCSD Libraries for internal and external projects. Services include mapping between metadata formats, object and functional specifications for the UCSD Libraries' DAMS, consultation on metadata creation for digitization projects, development of digital preservation metadata and related procedures. Members of the unit also participate in collaborative projects as outlined below.
