Bibliographic record production statistics are entered on the Documents Monthly Cataloging spreadsheet using the Microsoft Excel Software program which is loaded on the Cataloging Maintenance manager's PC. The statistics are obtained from the automated cataloging statistic strings entered on the item records. J. Archer compiles the monthly cataloging statistics by the item type and format. These statistics are given to the Catalog Maintenance manager. The manager transfers the totals to a worksheet (see below). The worksheet counts also include the manual serial statistics received from the Serials manager. The worksheet totals are entered on the cataloging spreadsheet. A copy of the completed spreadsheet is printed for the documents librarian and the input form printed for J. Archer.
