Revised September 27, 2002
by Shirley Higgins

The tasks recorded in this document are intended to represent distinct tasks which would be listed in individual job descriptions. Component tasks which form part of larger tasks, such as authority work or shelflist verification of call numbers, which are part of cataloging, are not listed as independent tasks here.  This means that a task, such as copy cataloging, includes verification of the description, headings, and call number.
